In accordance with article 11 of the Law the import of measuring equipment means to the territory of Ukraine can be realized in case these types of means are entered to the State register of measuring equipment means.

The order of import of measuring equipment means to the territory of Ukraine is confirmed by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 17.08.1998 No 1300.

The list of measuring equipment means on which the effect of the Order of measuring equipment means import to the territory of Ukraine is spread, is quoted in the appendix 1.

The basis for the customs registration of measuring equipment means is the presence of confirmation of territorial authorities of State consumer standard at the customs place of location which is registered in compliance with appendix 2.

The conclusion is given on the results of expert examination in compliance with which the enterprises, establishments, organizations irrespective to the forms of property and kind of activity, functioning at the territory of Ukraine, citizens – subjects of entrepreneurship import measuring equipment means to the territory of Ukraine (contract, invoice, international goods – transport invoice etc), on the basis of addressing in the written form of these applicants to the territorial authorities of State consumer standard.
